Terms of Service
Effective date: 22 October 2026 · Applies to nimbuscorp.tech
1. Acceptance and permitted use
By using Nimbus, you agree to these terms. Nimbus is intended for lawful analysis of public GitHub repositories and voluntarily supplied, authorized information. You must comply with GitHub terms, repository licences and applicable law.
2. No private repository access
Current Nimbus analysis is designed for public repositories. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, submit stolen credentials, probe private code or scan systems without authorization. The GitHub connection is optional and does not grant authorization to third-party security vendors.
3. Security results and limitations
Dependency and source security findings are informational. A clean or complete-looking report does not prove that software is secure. A repository health score is a heuristic, not a penetration test, certification, compliance attestation or warranty. Scanner coverage may be incomplete due to missing lockfiles, API access restrictions or unavailable services.
4. Optional third-party features
GitHub authorization, external scanner websites and AI providers operate under their own terms and policies. Some services require additional credentials, payments or permissions. If you use Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) AI features, you are responsible for the credentials and any resulting charges. Nimbus does not warrant the accuracy or availability of third-party services or generated AI output.
5. Acceptable use
- No illegal activity, attempts to compromise Nimbus, denial-of-service attacks, automated abuse or attempts to exceed service limits.
- No uploading or sharing malicious payloads, secrets, private data or content you lack the right to provide.
- No misrepresentation of reports as guarantees of security or professional certification.
- Respect third-party APIs, licences and reasonable operational limits.
6. Service operation
We may rate-limit, suspend, change or discontinue features to maintain reliability and security. Free features and integrations may change. Repository popularity statistics may be collected in aggregate as explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Repository content belongs to its respective rights holders and remains subject to its original licence. Nimbus does not acquire ownership of public source code you analyze. Nimbus branding, interface and original service materials remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Nimbus is provided on an “as available” basis without assurances of uninterrupted access, complete detection or suitability for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms; continued use after publication is subject to the updated terms where legally permitted. Questions can be submitted via our feedback/contact form.
